Dawn Devine aka Davina is a best-selling author of books on costume history, design and construction. Her latest book, “The Cloth of Egypt: All About Assiut” has taken her around the world giving talks, lectures, and presentations at museums, literary conferences, art and textile museums. Her costume shop, Studio Davina is located in her home in Silicon Valley, Ca. She currently teaches performance technique, sewing and design classes on line at the BDBA and locally leads a fun fusion troupe “Swirl.”
